Transfiguration Then and Now! - Silent Auction

In preparation for our capital campaign celebration event in January, we are beginning to solicit donations for the silent auction. Are you part of a business or organization that might like to donate goods or services? We are open to all ideas, but we are especially looking for donations that help bring people together - would you like to host a dinner for 8? throw a spa night? coordinate a pub crawl? put on a tea party for kids? give music lessons? do a cookie of the month delivery?

Please talk to Kristen Kearns or Virginia Fox about your interests and talents, and we can help you come up with a creative offering.

It is very helpful that we continue income at this time as we seek to create connections to each other and maintain parish life. If you are not a pledger at Transfig, please do use our ‘virtual offering plate’ on the front page of our website to make a contribution to our work as you are able. A collection will also be taken during the in-person services.

Community of Wonder

Sunday mornings, Community of Wonder (C.O.W.) (Age 4 - Grade 6) will begin in the Redwood Room at 10:30, unless otherwise advised.

It will require an adult volunteer signed up to assist Rebecca. Thanks to those who have already volunteered. We have a few spots that need volunteers in the coming weeks: Please sign up here

If an adult volunteer is not signed up by the previous Wednesday, Rebecca and the children will join us in the sanctuary for worship!

If an older child or teen would like to volunteer, they can request to do so with Rebecca.

We continue to pray for the Bishop Search & Transition Committee and for our diocese.

Almighty God, giver of every good gift, by your grace you have called us into one fellowship of faith: Look graciously on the people of the Diocese of California during this time of transition. May we be guided in heart and mind by your Holy Spirit to seek and welcome a faithful pastor who will care for your people and equip us to perform the work of the Church. Grant us, in all our doubts and uncertainties, the grace to ask what you would have us do. Save us from all false choices, that in your light we may see light, and on your path may not stumble; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
