Please join us for the opening of "Twin Impressions" at the Laurie Hendricks Gallery on Saturday, March 25th, from four in the afternoon until seven.  You will have a chance to meet the painters, purchase their wonderful work, and enjoy wine, refreshments, and good company.

Sandi Candiotty
Sandi's love for drawing and art started in Cleveland. After moving to California she received her BA at UCLA. Now, after her children have grown into adults, she has been able to return to her first love...oil painting! She is a member of many prestigious art organizations including Southern California Plein Air Painter's Association and the California Art Club.  She has received many awards including the Winsor Newton Art Award for Excellence, and the Grumbacher Gold Medallion.  See more artwork here

Barbara Sokol
Starting from a young age, Barbara has always had a love for art. After leaving her hometown of Cleveland, she went on to receive her Arts Degree at UCLA. Much of her inspiration comes from the French Impressionists' love of colors and sunlight which permeates her work. She is a member of many Southern California Art Organizations including the California Art Club, and Southern California Plein Air Painter's Association. See more artwork here.
Laurie Hendricks Wins Award of Excellence
at the American Impressionist Show
"Sunlit Gardens" by Laurie Hendricks won the Southwest Art Award of Excellence at the American Impressionist Small Works Showcase juried exhibition on March 18th.  The judge, Peggi Kroll Roberts awarded Laurie 4th place at a show that featured works by more than two hundred artists from around the country.  For more information on the winners and to see the paintings click here.
