Kona (above) and Kai (on the right) look like mirror images. They traveled 2000 miles to the safety of the Kent Animal Shelter
Kona and Kai were found in a remote area of Texas running stray. How they got there we do not know but a farmer coaxed them into his truck and drove them to the nearest animal control facility, 50 miles away. The farmer's intentions were good since these two pups had no home, no food or shelter and no where to go. Unfortunately, animal control would not hold them indefinitely so they only had so much time to be rescued and sent to a safe haven. Our rescue partner reached out to us and asked for help. Kona and Kai arrived at Kent this past week so that they could have a second chance. We are hoping they can go home for the holidays.
