Dear Colleagues,

A friendly reminder that we have two days remaining for you to meet with the college's strategic planning working groups. If you recall, earlier last year we held focus groups to gather initial input regarding the college, our planning processes, areas of strength and opportunities for growth.

This time around the focus groups are more feedback-oriented. Our volunteer faculty and staff working groups have been busy addressing refined thematic areas. They will present their work in the context of these themes, providing a high-level overview of efforts inclusive of how early work has informed the current proposals.

Based on these developments, our goal is to have a dialogue with you and gather your input on the group proposals, your thoughts on prioritizing, and the ways in which we will measure success.

I invite you to attend any/all of the sessions as they fit your schedule. If you are unable to attend but would like additional information, including more about the process and charges of each group, continue to check the college's strategic planning community webpage , which includes a progress report added in December.

Again, the sessions are open to all faculty and staff and will be held in the Hill Conference Room. Remaining dates and times include:

Tuesday, January 28:

  • 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.: Space and Culture
  • 1:30 - 3 p.m.: Curriculum and Pedagogy
  • 3 - 4 p.m.: Graduate Programs

Thursday, January 30:

  • 12 - 1 p.m.: Research and Innovation
  • 1 - 2 p.m.: Curriculum and Pedagogy

Thank you,
