TWO MRFF VICTORIES FOR MILITARY
BAND MEMBERS IN TWO DAYS!!!
WITH MRFF'S IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE,
SECOND MILITARY BAND'S APPEARANCE
AT CHRISTIAN NATIONALIST CHURCH
EVENT IS SWIFTLY CANCELED!!!

Encouraged by Wednesday's major MRFF victory in getting
the 246th Army Band of the South Carolina National Guard
canceled from performing at a South Carolina Baptist church's
Christian nationalistic “Annual Carolina Celebration of Liberty,”
members of a second military band came to MRFF
for help in getting their upcoming scheduled performance at a
large evangelical church's Fourth of July event, which band
members described as "some sort of 'Celebration of the
Founding of America as a Christian Nation' which is just unacceptable to most of us in the Band," canceled as well.

With information provided by MRFF, the Band Commander quickly grasped the true nature of the event and
canceled the band's performance at it!

As explained in the email below from MRFF's band member clients, their Band Commander was told by the church at which the event is being held that the band "was to represent 1 of the '7 Pillars of American Society' or something along those lines. They told him that the military was one of those '7 Pillars.' He admitted he should have checked this out more after Mikey Weinstein explained something called the 'Seven Mountains Mandate.' Mikey informed us that this is a type of not so well known fundamentalist Christianity called 'Dominionism.'"

For those unfamiliar with the Dominionist "Seven Mountains Mandate," an excellent explanation of this dangerous movement can be found here:

Subject: July 4th Military Band Concert at Evangelical Church Cancelled

Hello Mikey Weinstein and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.

Wanted to let you all know that after meeting with our Band Commander today the previously scheduled Fourth of July concert at an evangelical Christian church we were supposed to perform at has been cancelled.

Thank you MRFF!

Almost the entire band was against our participation in this event which was billed by the church as some sort of “Celebration of the Founding of America as a Christian Nation”. Many of us are Christians ourselves like me. Our Band Commander could not have been nicer and more understanding in our meeting today. He feels that he was misled about the nature of this ceremony we were supposed to play in by the leaders at this church.

They told him that our Band was to represent 1 of the “7 Pillars of American Society” or something along those lines. They told him that the military was one of those “7 Pillars”. He admitted he should have checked this out more after Mikey Weinstein explained something called the “Seven Mountains Mandate”. Mikey informed us that this is a type of not so well known fundamentalist Christianity called “Dominionism”. And our whole Band almost made the wrong step of participating in this 4th of July religious event.

Our Band Commander actually apologized for this “misstep” as he called it and was grateful that we had brought it to his immediate attention with the help of the MRFF. We believe he made an honest mistake. None of us knew about this “7 Mountains” stuff at all. We all need to be more careful in the future.

For 5 of us in the Band this is not the first time the MRFF has helped us out. It may not be the last time either.

Thank you all at the MRFF again for the aid and willingness to educate both us and our Band Commander.
