Catch the Second-to-Last Jazz Concert Today at Noon!

The rain should clear just in time, so make the most of summer in Lincoln Square today, Wednesday, September 10, when the Lucy Yeghiazaryan Trio brings straight-ahead jazz to Dante Park (Broadway & 64th Street) from noon to 1:30pm.


Lucy Yeghiazaryan, a rising star in jazz, is known for her rich vocals and heartfelt interpretations. Born in Armenia and raised on contraband jazz records, she immigrated to the U.S. and quickly made her mark, performing with top jazz artists and releasing five acclaimed albums, including 2024’s Beside the Golden Door.


The West Side YMCA will lead the audience in gentle stretches during the break. With just two concerts left in the series, catch this performance while you still can and make your Wednesday extraordinary!

Power Women’s Summit: Forbes is hosting its 13th Annual Power Women’s Summit at Jazz at Lincoln Center today, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 8:00am to 6:00pm. You should anticipate potential traffic delays and plan accordingly.


9/11: There is a rumor that the President and Vice President will be in town for the 9/11 ceremony and other activities. If the rumor is true, street closures are likely, which could result in traffic delays. It is currently unclear whether they will travel through Lincoln Square.

Annual Free Flu Shot Day Hosted by Assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal

To prepare for flu season, Assemblymember Rosenthal will hold her annual free flu shot day with Mount Sinai on Monday, September 29, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at her district office, which is located at 230 West 72nd Street, Suite 2F (between Broadway and West End Avenue). Renew Your Food Service Establishment Permit Annually

Food Service Establishment Permits issued by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene expire after one year. Check your permit’s expiration date and make sure your contact information with DOHMH is up to date by submitting this form. Renewal notices are sent out 3 months before expiration.

2025-2026 NYC Civic Corps Program 

NYC Service is recruiting for the next cohort of NYC Civic Corps members. From October 2025 to July 2026, members will serve full-time at City agencies and nonprofits to address NYC’s most pressing issues—like youth education, food access, environment, and more!
