Upper School News
Dear Upper School Families,

What a fun time I had at our Virtual Scholarship Fundraiser yesterday! Even remotely, I can feel the arms of our beautiful community around me. Thank you to everyone who attended and so generously donated! It is so deeply appreciated.

Below, please find some amazing summer offerings 'at' Roycemore this year! I am really excited to share these virtual camps with you and hope that many of you will sign up for some cool classes.

Last Admissions Morning of School Year- Tuesday!
We will be holding our final Admissions event for the 2019-2020 School Year this Tuesday. This is a great way for interested families to hear directly from Roycemore students and teachers about what it is like to be a Griffin. Please spread the word!

Free Digital Access to The New York Times for all U.S. High School Students
With so many high school students learning from home, it’s critical they have access to reliable news sources. Verizon and The New York Times are giving students and teachers in every high school in America free digital access to Times journalism as well as invaluable education resources from The Times's Learning Network to help aid remote learning. Go to  nytimes.com/highschoolaccess  now to register.

Sports and Activities Awards
Continuing this Thursday, Upper School students who have participated in sports and activities this year will be honored by the coaches and sponsors . These honors will be awarded during Upper School homeroom on Thursdays at 11am for the next three weeks. A video will be available to be shared, let me know if you would like to see it!

AP Tests - Continuing through May 22
This year's at-home AP® Exams begin tomorrow!

Exam Details.  Students can take their AP Exams online on any device they have access to—computer, tablet, or smartphone. They'll also have the option to write their responses by hand and submit a photo.

Exam Communications.  Over the coming weeks, email will continue to be the primary way The College Board will reach out to students. Students, please mark collegeboard@e.collegeboard.org   as part of your approved sender lists and update your cell phone numbers in your College Board accounts.

Lin-Manuel Miranda Announces Virtual School Program, #EduHam at Home
The free digital program encourages teens and their families to create their own theatrical pieces. What a neat opportunity!

Do you want to chat with a scientist over video chat from your living room?  Skype a Scientist  will match you with a scientist for free! These sessions are Q & A conversations, so you and your kids can talk with a scientist about what makes YOU curious. There are lots of different scientists to choose from!
