US Skiing National U16 Camp

Brings together top U16 male and female athletes from across the USA for a week of intensive training and ski sport education led by  US Ski Team staff and top regional coaches.

To earn their spot, Kili and Cooper had to finish well at this year's US Junior Championships in Anchorage, Alaska. They were then selected as discretionary picks to represent the Far West Division.

Next week (July 22-29) they are heading to the College of St Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, to train with  the very best in the nation.

Strider Gliders Through and Through

We are proud to say that both Kili and Cooper were Strider Gliders, start to finish.  They trained with our Devo program and skied for North Tahoe Middle and now High School . Currently they both train with Far West at Auburn Ski Club.

"Being selected to attend [U16 National Camp] means that I'm going to have an amazing experience that a lot of other people do not get to have, and that it will hopefully help make me a better skier. My plan for Nordic skiing is to do well at upcoming JNs, get onto a good college team, and hopefully make it to the US Ski Team." - Kili Lehmkuhl
