Spring Planning and Planting Workshop (free)
March 20, 10:30-12 am
What is a Seed Swap?

A seed swap is an event where people come together to share and exchange seeds.

You do not have to have seeds to participate.
If you do have seeds, please bring them.

We will provide small envelopes for people to portion out their seeds to take home.

Kula Farm has many seeds to offer from its own library.
SWAPPING SEED -BEFORE- SOCIAL DISTANCING!
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THE SEED SWAP

The event will take place outdoors (under tents) so please dress accordingly depending on the weather.

All participants are asked to keep distance, wash/sanitize hands on arrival and masks will be required.

We will work to maintain a safe distance and traffic flow around the tables with seed to keep everybody safe.

About the presenter:

Lori is new to this area but not to organic farming. She has managed and worked on small scale organic vegetable farms in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Louisiana since 2004. She received her Bachelors of Science in Horticulture from New Mexico State University with a concentration in sustainable agriculture. Lori plans on hosting several seasonal garden related workshops at the Farm that will be in line with the time of year.
The diversity of the famous squash tower at the annual Heirloom Seed Convention reminds us that life is ever changing and evolving as it adapts to the circumstances of nature.
We are excited to be starting up workshops again and to continue our work in educating the community on sustainable practices and growing food. Our workshops are all free but donations are much appreciated!
