A message from the St. Tammany Corp CEO, Chris Masingill: Two key principles of economic development include understanding the importance of transportation infrastructure to a growing economy and recognizing the critical need for public feedback and input. As a representative of St. Tammany on the Regional Planning Commission, I wanted to make you aware that the draft Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the St. Tammany urbanized area is now available for review on the RPC website here , and the MTP for the full New Orleans Metropolitan area can be viewed here .
The RPC will be accepting public comments on the plans through January 2, 2019. The plans will also be presented at a public meeting held December 19, 2018, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at 10 Veterans Blvd., New Orleans.
