El Sobrante Events to Plan Future, Recycle, and Support a New Community Cafe and Nursery
I hope you'll join me at two events important to the health of El Sobrante!
First, on May 30, we'll have an impactful discussion about the future of the El Sobrante community over the next two decades. The County is updating its
General Plan, Zoning Code, and Climate Action Plan - a project called
"Envision Contra Costa 2040" - to set the course for conservation efforts and development in the unincorporated county. Please come, learn, share, and help us plan the future of your community.
Then, on June 1, you can come to the Upcycling Day at the former Adachi Nursery site, which will be turned into the Good Table Cafe and Planting Justice Nursery. We'll gather to clean the property and participants can pick free items from inside the existing building to upcycle for your own projects!
