In the early morning hours of August 14th, a devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck southwestern Haiti leaving 2,248 people dead and more than 650,000 people in need of emergency humanitarian assistance. Today marks two months since the earthquake, and we are pleased to report on the remarkable impact that has been made thanks to your support.
Our key earthquake relief programs include: emergency hygiene kits, food kits, and children’s comfort kits, medicines, medical equipment and supplies, trauma and critical care for victims, mobile clinics, and capacity building, training and education.

Due to Project Medishare's long-standing presence in Haiti and our experience with major disaster responses after the 2010 earthquake and 2016's Hurricane Matthew, Project Medishare is at the forefront of emergency disaster response efforts in health, both short and long term, to support affected communities.
We send our deepest gratitude to every single donor, partner and sponsor for supporting our continued relief efforts. Project Medishare has been in Haiti since 1994, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to helping and empowering the Haitian people.
