C-STEM Welcomes Seabrooks to Board

We are honored to welcome Dr. Joe Seabrooks to the C-STEM Board of Directors. Dr. Seabrooks is a leader in higher education. He has served as President of Dallas College Cedar Valley Campus since 2016. His vast experience also includes roles as President of two campuses in the Metropolitan Community College District in Kansas City and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Arkansas. His career began at his alma mater, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he served in various roles from 1993-2004.

Dr. Seabrooks holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, master’s and educational specialist degrees in higher education administration, and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in urban leadership, policy studies, and education administration, all earned from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Originally from Atlanta, Dr. Seabrooks was a student-athlete and the first in his family to attend college. Most importantly, he is the loving husband of Leslie and the father of two sons, who he affectionately refers to as his “Greatest Accomplishment” – Joe Tre and Jackson.
