New Zealand pro-fluoridation advocate Ken Perrott has a nice analytic piece on his Open Parachute web site of Paul Connett's newest scheme to provide a cherry picked view of the scientific literature to citizens seeking to "do their own research."

Texas State Board of Dental Examiners

The following SBDE  Rule changes were published in the March 28, 2014 Texas Register.  You have 30 days to comment from the published date. 

 

Proposed:

101.3 - regarding licensing by credentials, persons with criminal backgrounds must submit verification from the Professional Background Information Services (PBIS) within 6 months of application.

108.8 - regarding length of time dentists must retain patient records.

108.12 - NEW - defines scope of practice of dentist in treating sleep disorders, and includes CE requirements.

108.14 - NEW - concerning pediatric and special needs case management and protective stabilization.

Withdrawn:

Old 108.12.

Adopted:

101.1Board can take disciplinary action if licensee fails to provide information as requested by the Board.

101.5regarding staggered dental registrations
