April 2025

Dear Friends:

We hope you'll join us at the 35th Annual Albert J. Silverman Research Conference on May 7 where we'll explore the topic of 'Partnering with the Experts: Community Engagement in Psychiatry Research.' Those close to Ann Arbor are welcome to attend in-person, though the keynote lecture will be available virtually as well.

I am also thrilled to share that we plan to host a Michigan Psychiatry Meet'n Greet in conjunction with the American Psychiatric Association annual meeting. This year’s meeting will be May 17–21 in Los Angeles and more details for our happy hour on May 18 can be found below.

I hope you'll enjoy reading this newsletter. You remain a vital part of our Michigan family and make our community a better place. Thank you for all you do!

Sincerely,

Stephan Taylor, M.D.

Interim Chair, Dept. of Psychiatry;

Albert J. Silverman, M.D., C.M., Research Professor of Psychiatric Disorders
