No Grownup Left Behind!
August 26, 2015
Dear Friend,

Dead last. That's where U.S. students land compared to students in 19 countries when it comes to using technology for problem-solving.

"'Yes, [millennials] can take selfies," said Linda Rosen, CEO of Change the Equation, in a presentation announcing the organization's findings...[yet] 58 percent of millennials struggle to use digital tools and networks to solve relatively simple problems that involve skills like sorting, searching for, and emailing information from a spreadsheet, the study found."

We can fix this, but it's going to take some work. YOU can start by checking out the CyberWise Information Literacy Hub to learn more yourself (this study also found adults had info literacy deficiencies too!)

You might also want to check out our Information Literacy program for schools. Contact us if you'd like a free lesson for your school or just to ask us a question. We're committed to leaving no one behind in the digital age!

Enjoy!
