U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY OPENS PORTAL FOR COUNTIES TO RECEIVE FISCAL RECOVERY FUNDS
Today, Monday, May 10, 2021, the U.S, Department of the Treasury (Treasury) released additional guidance for counties related to the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund allocation as a part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

The bill includes $65.1 billion in direct, flexible aid to every county in America, as well as other crucial investments in local communities. Additionally, the U.S. Treasury opened the new portal to which counties must submit specified information to receive Fiscal Recovery Funds.

We at the Association will provide additional information as we review the guidance in its entirety, the first step is for all counties to register through the Treasury Portal.
