THO President Ali Cinar is meeting with business and academic leaders during his current Turkey trip. His print and and TV interviews continue with different media outlets.

THO staff also connected with with Congressman John Joyce and Congressman Glenn "GT " Thompson this week and Hoover Institution Research Fellow Abbas Milani for a presentation at the U.S. Senate.

Read More Here Secretary of State Advises Turkey Not to Use S-400s President Trump has currently not signaled for any sanctions against Turkey for the purchase of the Russian S-400 system. U.S Secretary of State Pompeo stresses to Turkey that to avoid sanctions the S-400 missiles must not become operational. Read More Here Turkey Says Will Not Back Down from S-400s Over U.S. Threats A On July 22, Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu made a statement about the possible sanctions from the U.S. over the purchase of S-400 defense system, claiming that Turkey will take the necessary measures to counter U.S. threats if it comes to that. Ikizler also serves as the Director of the Division of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and is the Catherine McLaughlin Hakim Chair in Vascular Biology and a Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt. Ikizler additionally runs a research lab where he focuses primarily on nutritional and metabolic aspects of kidney disease.
