  • September 17, 2019 THO will be cohosting alongside the World Affairs Council, an event with Senior Turkish Officials on how the U.S.-Turkey bilateral relationship moves forward.
  • September 26, 2019 THO will be hosting a round-table discussion with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Kudrez Ozersay of Northern Cyprus at the Yale Club of NYC.
  • October 3, 2019 THO will be hosting the Mayor of Gaziantep Fatma Sahin to discuss Syrian refugees in Turkey at the National Press Club from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
  • October 16, 2019 THO will be hosting a luncheon discussion on the topic of the Kurdish Question at the National Press Club from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Official Visits
Turkish Deputy Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar will be traveling to New York and Washington, D.C. September 16-September 20, 2019.
Turkish President Erdogan will be in New York for the United Nations General Assembly and will meet on the sidelines with U.S. President Trump September 22-25, 2019.
USEUCOM U.S. Army Lt. General Stephen Twitty and USCENTCOM U.S. Air Force Lt. General Thomas Bergeson visited the Turkey-U.S. joint operations center in Sanliurfa for the coordination of the activities in the safe zone in northern Syria. They held meetings to meet with their Turkish Counterparts and discuss future joint operations.
The 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 74) opens today September 16, 2019.
