WestPrime Healthcare - Meeting Veteran's Incontinence Needs

WestPrime Healthcare is launching a new product to help manage urinary incontinence. By providing a free education and referral service, WestPrime Healthcare is tackling the stigma associated with incontinence and helping Veterans get the treatment they deserve.

Urinary incontinence affects more than 4 million men in the U.S. today - with thousands joining their ranks each year. The root causes vary (prostate cancer, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular disorders or post traumatic stress disorder, and many conditions associated with aging). Recent studies also suggest that men younger than age 55 who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces are almost three times as likely to report urinary incontinence as are their nonmilitary peers.

There are four main types of incontinence recognized by most physicians:
*Urge Incontinence - the leakage of urine with a great sense of urgency to urinate, often uncontrollable.
*Stress Incontinence - urine leakage from the bladder when you cough, laugh, sneeze or otherwise put pressure on the abdomen.
*Overflow Incontinence -this occurs when someone has difficulty passing urine, causing the bladder to be permanently full or to not empty fully. As urine continues to be produced, leaks occur when the bladder reaches max capacity.
*Total Incontinence -the continuous leakage or urine. Fortunately, men with incontinence now have a new way to regain their independence and live a healthy, active lifestyle.
That's why WestPrime Healthcare is thrilled to announce its partnership with BioDerm, the manufacturer of Men's Liberty. This innovative, new product is a discreet urine capturing system that is built on the ideas of the bulkier systems that fighter pilots and astronauts use. The Men's Liberty is a discreet; one-size-fits all option for managing men's urinary incontinence in a safe, healthy way. It's covered by Medicare, the VA and most private insurance plans. Only Men's Liberty is undetectable under clothing and is so light, you can sleep through the night with it attached.

Incontinence is a serious condition that can be managed without the stigma of adult diaper use.

There is a better way...

If you're experiencing bladder leakage-don't delay-schedule a check up with your healthcare provider today!
WestPrime Healthcare Provides Products That Define Excellence in Incontinence Care

WestPrime Healthcare has partnered with BioDerm, Inc. to offer veterans a simpler way of managing and living with urinary incontinence. In order to accomplish this mission, WestPrime Healthcare recently added BioDerm's Men's Liberty device to its Federal Supply Schedule for men's urinary incontinence management. By offering a hassle-free direct-ship to patients program throughout the United States, WestPrime Healthcare is making a difference and improving the quality of life of our Veterans and Service Members.
