Candidate Profiles

Second Vice President Candidates

GREG JENSEN

Sevier County Commissioner

It has been great to be a commissioner representing Sevier County. I appreciate the opportunity to run for this office. I have the best wife a man could ask for. I also have three wonderful daughters, their husbands and three grandchildren. I grew up with 9 siblings on a dairy farm and really enjoyed the blessing of that lifestyle and upbringing.

I love the outdoors and the opportunity we have to use our public lands. I have owned my own insurance agency for 35 years. It has been a great opportunity for me to help people when they are having their most stressful days with death, accidents and health issues.

I have lived in Richfield for the last 30 years. I love to play farmer with my 5 acres. I have always been accused of owning a zoo. Horses, cows chickens and dogs. Any time I can spend riding my horse, sitting under a tree or watching my grandkids play in my yard is time well spent. Serving the public in my capacity as a commissioner has been very rewarding. I love to help when people are in need. I want to keep protecting our public lands. I want to stay active in our organization, helping on the Hill to make our counties and state better.

GREG MILES

Duchesne County Commissioner

Greg was raised on a farm in Bluebell, Utah, and attended the College of Eastern Utah in Price. Currently, Greg serves as Chairman of the Duchesne County Commission. As part of his commission assignments, he serves on several local and state boards and committees, as well as NACO Public Lands and Natural Resources Steering Committee. Greg is a member of the NACO County Leadership Institute Class of 2021. Greg also serves on the Moon Lake Electric and Deseret Power Boards. Before his election in 2018, he worked for B&G Crane as a crane operator and safety advisor.

Greg's commitment to public service is further demonstrated by his 13 years as Fire Chief of the Altamont Fire Department and 12 years on the Upper Country Water Board. He has a genuine passion for helping people. Greg and his wife, Laci, have six children and reside in Altamont.
