  • 11:30 a.m. Dean's Convocation, Warnken Moot Courtroom. Join us for continental breakfast on .5 level at 10:30, then hear Dean Reed's vision for the law school. Luncheon to follow. Learn more and register.
  • 2 to 3:30 p.m. Student-led tours of the Angelos Law Center and info sessions at the law school, to include updates on student life and student organizations, including journals and trial teams; and a faculty preview of the new Supreme Court term.

We're thrilled to announce a new lunch-and-learn series, "Lawyers as Leaders." The fall series covers essential leadership topics such as authentic leadership style, change management, and building a positive culture.


This free professional development opportunity features UBalt Law alumni sharing their wisdom and experience as they have performed in leadership roles. We hope alumni take advantage of the chance to learn from these dynamic and inspiring professionals. Lunch is included.


The second panel, "Leading Through Change," takes place on Friday, Oct. 11 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Hear from:

  • Meryl Burgin, J.D. '87, retired general counsel, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield of Maryland;
  • Kerry Neal, J.D. '06, associate commissioner, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics;
  • Laurie Lyte, J.D. '92, principal, Lytehouse Solutions, who will moderate the panel.
