News and Events for Libraries
Community Members and Supporters

Endowed University Librarian Lorelei Tanji.

The Libraries’ lendable technology program, which provides the most up-to-date technology to our campus users, was the focus for our recent 2026 Giving Day campaign. We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the campus and community members for their generous donations that helped us achieve a record-breaking milestone. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Associated Students of UC Irvine (ASUCI) for donating new equipment to this extremely popular and essential program.

June also brings a primary election, and we're committed to making sure that voters are equipped with everything they need to know before casting a ballot. In addition to our Informed Voter Guide, you'll find below a host of other news and resources. The depth and breadth covered in this newsletter demonstrate the Libraries' commitment to providing accessible, open information for all.
