Winter Week 11 NEWSLETTER
Dear UC San Diego Theatre & Dance Community:

The safety and security of our students, staff, faculty members and greater community is our highest concern. In consultation with campus leadership, the UC San Diego Department of Theatre & Dance has immediately canceled all public performances through June 12, 2020. Please note this is a proactive measure.

In order to maintain our academic mission, the Department of Theatre & Dance will explore online video and audio creative pieces as an alternate venue to present performances directly related to our courses or those that are helpful for student degree progress.

These proposed experimental online venues will be visible on our updated Season Calendar:  http://theatre.ucsd.edu/season/index.htm

Additional resources and information about UC San Diego’s response to COVID-19, may be found at UC San Diego’s  COVID-19 website .

We ask for your patience and continued support as we work diligently to maintain our academic mission while protecting the health and safety of our community.

Sincerely,

Allan Havis
