Third Grade Bibles Registration Deadline is January 5
The Third Grade Bible Class is a UCC tradition and provides an in-depth opportunity to learn about the Bible, how to use the Bible, and makes the Bible a source for your child of hope, questions, answers and faith development. UCC believes learning to use your Bible is important and gives every third grader a Bible as a gift.

This year, Bibles will be presented in worship prior to the class so children can use their new Bibles as we learn to navigate scripture. We encourage everyone to participate in the class, but if they are not able to attend, we still want your child to receive a Bible from UCC. Classes meet on Sundays at 10:00am.

January 5 - Deadline to register for classes
January 9 - Presentation of Bibles during 11:00 am worship

Welcome! Interested in knowing more about our church? Connect with us on January 8. Our senior minister, Rev. Russ Peterman, will lead us in a discussion about the history of the Disciples of Christ denomination and the foundations of our theology. In 2022 the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition (TCHC) is focused on moving 2,200 people into affordable housing. Most of those moving into housing don’t have much more than what’s in their backpacks, so our church has committed to filling laundry baskets with essential household items to make an apartment feel like home. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches us that what we do with our money tells us something about the condition of our heart. "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." - Matthew 6: 21

We talk around here, when we are thinking about our tithes and offerings, that this is more about our need to give, over and above the church's need to receive. We do this for our own spiritual health and joy as much as anything else. Every year we encourage every member to fill out an estimate of giving card. That act is an expression of our faith and devotion: of all that you've given us, God, this is what we give back to you with grateful hearts.

Listening & Responding to God's Call in Your Life
January 9 - February 13
What we see over and over again in scripture is God interrupting the lives of ordinary men and
women, calling and empowering them to lives of service they never would have imagined on
their own. That same God calls each of us, too, to bring hope and transformation to the world. In
this series we’ll look at how to hear and respond to the unique call God is placing on your life.
An open-hearted church for curious minded people
