Welcome Home Baskets 2022
UCC would like to say thank you to everyone who helped volunteer on Sunday, and to everyone who donated items for our welcome home baskets.
New Member Sunday
This Sunday, January 16, is New Member Sunday. Every few months, during the 11:00am worship service, we have a group introduction and Affirmation of Faith for our newest members. Afterward, we host a congregation wide Meet & Greet in the Gallery to officially welcome those folks to our UCC family.

Rodeo Sack Lunch Program
Volunteer Opportunity on January 18 and January 24.

Fort Worth is known for the Stock Show and Rodeo. It takes hundreds of people around the clock to put on such a spectacle, many of whom are day workers who find themselves in a position where food is hard to come by.  This program is designed to pack lunch sacks for the employees of the Rodeo.  Volunteers will help assemble approximately 3,500 lunches, each week, on Monday mornings at Tarrant Area Food Bank during the FWSSR.

*Vaccinations are required.  Your vaccine card and I.D will be checked when you enter the facility*

We are kicking off our annual generosity campaign where we invite our members and friends to consider, prayerfully, how we will respond to the blessings God has graced us with. When we talk about our tithes and offerings, we think more about our need to give over and above the church’s need to receive. Every year we encourage every member to fill out an estimate of giving card. That act is an expression of our faith and devotion: of all that you’ve given us, God, this is what we give back to you with grateful hearts.
