Rev. Dr. Russ Peterman Invites You to our
Maundy Thursday Service
This Holy Week service of Tenebrae is located in the Sanctuary at 7:30pm and will focus on the Passion of Jesus Christ. Through the reading of Scripture, congregational hymns and anthems sung by the Chancel Choir, we will be reminded of the events following Palm Sunday that lead us to the cross.
Please join us for an outdoor experience of Holy Week created especially for families. Participants will visit the Temple that Jesus cleared, smell the fragrance used to bathe Jesus' feet, visit the garden to pray as Jesus did, and more. Words from the Bible help us understand the story of Jesus as we experience the sights and sounds of Holy Week.
In the midst of life’s challenges and disappointments, we seek a message of hope – light that fills the darkness, good that triumphs over evil, and life that conquers even death. This is the story of Easter. No matter who you are, what you have been through or where you are coming from, we welcome you to share this celebration of hope.
