Dear UCI Law Alumni,
The Law Alumni Association (LAA) is holding an election for two Alumni Member positions on UCI Law’s DEI Committee consisting of UCI Law alumni, students, administrators, and faculty. The DEI Committee’s stated mission is to lead in the creation of a diverse, equitable, and welcoming environment for all students at UCI Law. The LAA encourages all alumni interested in serving as an Alumni Member to submit their candidacy statements using this form by Tuesday, September 12. The LAA Board and Council will review all candidacy statements through a voting period, and announce the new alumni DEI Committee members on September 21. The Alumni Members will serve a one-year term beginning in Fall 2023 and will provide regular updates to the LAA Board and council.
2023 UCI Law DEI Committee Elections Timeline:
September 12: Candidacy statements due
September 13-20: LAA Board voting period
September 21: Results announced
