The runup to the holidays can be hectic. During this busy time, UCI Libraries tools and resources like our popular Drama Library search tool and millions of fiction and nonfiction ebooks are available to support the entire UCI campus community, whether they need help with core coursework and research or are looking to unwind during the winter recess.

And if you haven't already, I encourage you to visit Langson Library to see our 400 Years of Shakespeare's First Folio exhibit before it's too late. We're soon making way for our upcoming exhibit, Electrifying Music: The Untold Story of Remi Gassmann. I welcome you to join us on February 1, 2024 for our exhibit opening event, which will include musical performances by Anne LeBaron (CalArts) and Michael Dessen (UCI).

Published in 1623, Shakespeare’s First Folio was a landmark of printing at the time and, as of 2020, is the most expensive piece of literature ever auctioned. In celebration of the First Folio’s 400th anniversary, this exhibit will delve into what makes this book so treasured, with special attention paid to the copy housed in the UCI Libraries Special Collections and Archives.
