for the UCI Community
I am happy to report that UCI Libraries is more than one-third through the upgrade project in Langson Library. To improve the experience of library users, Langson's outdated air handlers are being replaced.

Phase 2 (February 21 April 9, 2023)

  • The 2nd and 3rd floors of Langson Library will be closed, but the 2nd floor Check Out Desk will remain operational.

  • The Roger C. Holden Faculty and Graduate Student Reading Room and 3rd floor study rooms will be closed.

For instructions on how to request and retrieve materials from the 3rd floor and to find other study areas, visit the Langson Library Air Handlers Replacement Project webpage.

We thank all our patrons for their patience and understanding during partial building closures. Once the project completes, the campus can look forward to more consistent temperature and air flow.
