Happy New Year! To start off 2024, I am pleased to share that UCI Libraries have received the inaugural 2024 Library Excellence in Access and Diversity (LEAD) Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine, the largest and oldest diversity and inclusion publication in higher education. This award honors the ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts of UCI Libraries, such increasing access to diverse scholarly publications and media and the recent expansion of assistive technology tools in our facilities.

A UC transformative agreement with Wiley will also continue through 2026, growing the Libraries' support of open access publishing and research. Here's to another great year.
