Union County Public Schools has 12 schools that offer Dual Language Immersion (DLI) programs for rising kindergarteners. This rigorous academic program supports bilingualism, biliteracy and cross-cultural awareness in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
The kindergarten application period for DLI is Feb. 8 – March 31.
In order to apply for the DLI lottery, parents must first enroll their child in kindergarten at their home school, then complete an online application through Scribbles. The application for Scribbles can be accessed from the UCPS website.
Only rising kindergarten students can apply for the DLI lottery.
