Are you a parent, or the co-parent of a parent living with a brain tumor? Join us for this three-part series in which you will learn more about:
- The impact of a brain tumor on you as a parent, on couples, and on kids.
- The importance of communication with your children about the diagnosis and age- appropriate communication strategies and techniques.
- How to navigate parenting and symptoms of the brain tumor at the same time.
You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills to help your children navigate a serious parental illness, receive valuable resources, and connect with others going through a similar process, in the interactive break-out sessions.
This program is open to UCSF brain tumor patients and their caregivers. It will be held online, via Zoom. There is no cost to attend. Space is limited.
Please plan to attend all three sessions.
