Innovation Product Pipeline Launches

Our Product Pipeline represents the structured framework Innovation Ventures uses to take a product from an initial concept through the various phases of research, development, testing, and finally to commercial launch and post-market management. Think of it as a GPS that shows where our emerging technologies stand in the commercialization landscape.

This system was developed by our Sr. IP Project & Compliance Manager, Danielle Casey Callaghan, BA, and is supported with up-to-date information by Associate Director, IP & Business Operations, Dan Abel, JD, and Sr. License Compliance Manager, Heather Carrico, MS.

The Genotech Symposium 2026!

The UCSF Institute for Human Genetics (IHG) is pleased to partner with the UCSF Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regeneration Medicine and Stem Cell Research (Broad Center) to host the Genotech Symposium 2026.

This year's symposium will take place on Wednesday, September 23, from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM at the William J. Rutter Center, Robertson Auditorium. Building on the success of last year's event, which welcomed more than 500 registrants, we look forward to bringing the genetics and genomics community together once again.

The symposium is designed to foster collaboration and meaningful dialogue between academia and industry in the fields of genetics and genomics. Attendees will have opportunities to exchange ideas, make new connections, and spark collaborations through both the scientific program and informal networking. The program will feature presentations from leading faculty and industry experts, showcasing advances in both basic science and translational research across a broad range of topics in genetics and genomics.

Registration is free, and we encourage you to register by September 7 to help us plan for catering.

We hope you'll join us for an engaging day of scientific discovery, collaboration, and networking.
