Wrapping Up the Academic Year
The UCSOP Classes of 2025, 2024, & 2023 completed finals and progression testing this month. UCSOP students also recently received their Pharmacy Curriculum Outcomes Assessment (PCOA) results. The PCOA is a tool used by pharmacy schools across the country to evaluate their curriculum, and it allows students to become familiar with the examination process prior to sitting for the licensure exams after graduation. This data is used internally within the UCSOP annual progression exams to ensure students are retaining knowledge from year to year and provide individualized attention to any students that need help in specific content areas. We are especially proud of the Classes of 2024 & 2023 for performing above the national average in basic biomedical sciences and clinical sciences, respectively.
Operation De-Stress
The UCSOP chapters of IPhO and SCCP partnered with the Kanawha-Charleston Human Association to bring puppies to campus on the first day of finals week.
