February and Early March Highlights
Our Interim Executive Director, Gary Jones, was a featured speaker at the kick off of Black History Month with the African American Cultural Center! He addressed the issue of historic coalitions between African Americans and Jews, along with current coalition building efforts.
UConn Hillel partnered with various cultural clubs including BAILE, the Dominican Student Association, and the Brazilian Student Association for a night of festive dancing!
Students from all across campus gathered together to watch Brain Eslick put on an exciting hypnotism show! This event was partnered with the UConn Center for Judaic Studies and Contemporary Jewish Life as well as UConn Global Affairs.

  • Habonim Dror Camp Moshava (“Mosh”) is a progressive, Jewish overnight camp in Harford County, Maryland. We focus on teaching about the environment, social justice, Jewish peoplehood, and inclusion. Counselors work with kids from 4th through 10th grade to build community, build a sense of self, and create a fun and magical summer.
