Help Bring Hope to Lad Lake Youth this Holiday Season! Many youth arrive at Lad Lake in moments of crisis, often with only a few belongings hastily packed into a plastic bag. A new duffel bag filled with personal hygiene items offers more than essentials, it restores dignity, stability, and a sense of being valued.

This year, Bank on Greater Milwaukee is collecting new duffel bags for youth served by Lad Lake, a nonprofit helping young people overcome trauma and build brighter futures. Email constance@uedawi.org to arrange duffel bag collection. To learn more, visit www.ladlake.org

Rising Property Taxes Strain Homeowners Milwaukee homeowners are being hit by sharp property tax increases and rising assessments, with lower-value homes disproportionately overtaxed. The Milwaukee Property Tax Appeals Project at Community Advocates is helping residents challenge assessments and avoid foreclosure as demand for assistance grows. Read more here.

Data You Can Use unveiled the Wealth in Milwaukee report at its annual Data Day last month. The report examines how disparities in wealth—particularly along racial and ethnic lines—affect access to housing, education, and long-term economic security. Read the full report HERE.
