Your health and that of our community remain our top priority. We are available for patients who need urgent Gynecology care. We remain OPEN to serve the needs of our community within the current public health guidelines.
We DO NOT TEST for COVID-19. For patients with symptoms concerning for Coronavirus, we must recommend that you contact your primary care physician or seek evaluation at an Urgent Care Center prepared to evaluate Coronavirus patients. A phone call to your primary care provider is the best option for most patients with mild symptoms, to avoid exposing others.
Coronavirus symptoms may include cough, shortness of breath, fever, muscle aches, and difficulty smelling. We recommend not coming into the office if you have recently traveled out of the country or have been in contact with a person with suspected or confirmed COVID-19.
Patients at greater risk for complications from Coronavirus, including people 70 and older, and those with underlying medical conditions should remain at home unless absolutely necessary.
Upper East Side Women's Health will screen patients with a brief questionnaire before entering our office, seek to minimize the number of people in our waiting room, and will get you into a private room as soon as possible, all to minimize risk to patients and staff.
We ask that patients come to our office on their own if possible.
We are offering telemedicine services for patients who are not able to come into our office, and for any patient where the visit can be completed by telemedicine appointments.
