Dear Local 1776KS Member:
I am writing to inform all of our members at Acme, ShopRite, and Giant Eagle that your temporary wage premiums have been extended through May 30. The Local has worked very hard to make sure that your hard work and dedication under incredibly difficult circumstances has been recognized. We have also worked hard to make sure that all worksites are as safe as possible – especially for our retail workers and other essential workers across our Local.
Now that governors across the nation are relaxing some COVID-19 restrictions and stay-at-home orders, it is especially important that you follow all safety guidelines: wash your hands, practice social distancing, wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment, and follow new cleaning protocols.
