UFCW Local 75 Reaches Tentative Agreement for Toledo Kroger

UFCW LOCAL 75 REACHES TENTATIVE AGREEMENT

WITH KROGER FOR TOLEDO STORES

Your UFCW Local 75 Union Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement today with the Kroger Company for the contract covering over 3,000 members working in Toledo Area Kroger Stores. The one-year agreement protects livable wages and affordable, quality health care and benefits for our members.

The Union Bargaining Committee worked diligently to reach an agreement that will secure your benefits over the next year. A short-term contract allows us to explore other options that could expand and strengthen your health care coverage. This year, you'll also have the opportunity to earn incentives and lower your health care costs.

This tentative agreement includes an annual bonus for top-rate employees and introduces a new wage scale for apprentices. Wage brackets have also been increased as a result of the new minimum wage.

Please attend a ratification meeting on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., or 6:00 p.m. in any of the following locations:
Findlay Inn, (200 East Main Cross, Findlay, Ohio),
Clarion Inn (3422 Port Clinton Road Fremont, Ohio), or
Holiday Inn French Quarter (10630 Fremont Pike, Perrysburg, Ohio).

The Union Bargaining Committee recommends ratification of this agreement.
