Dr. Nagui Rouphail and Dr. Behzad Aghdashi will share research from STRIDE project: "Freeway Management for Optimal Reliability."

Freeway reliability is highly vulnerable to the impact of incidents. We will start with some basic definitions and factors impacting reliability. Next, we will highlight how incidents are accounted for in assessing freeway reliability and provide new methods on how to incorporate their effects in the current FREEVAL software. Help us by taking the Florida Transportation Plan Survey
Now is a very exciting and dynamic time for transportation in Florida. The transportation system is at the heart of Florida’s economy - supporting new businesses, record-breaking tourism, an ever-growing population, and global trade. Florida’s transportation system enhances our communities by providing safe mobility to live, learn, work, and play. We want you to be a part of planning Florida’s transportation future.

The Florida Transportation Plan (FTP) is the state’s long–range plan guiding Florida’s transportation future. The FTP is a plan for all of Florida—and affects every resident, business, and visitor. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and its partners are updating the FTP, which will guide today’s state, regional, and local transportation decisions and investments to help us achieve our goals for the future.

Please take this 10- 15 minute survey and encourage your colleagues, friends, and family to take it as well.

The Florida Department of Transportation looks forward to hearing from you!
