With the introduction of personal computers and the proliferation of software for the traffic engineering and transportation planning profession, a mechanism was needed to connect research to practice - and Mc Trans is still filling that need 30 years later! To celebrate, we've put together a graphical timeline of their biggest milestones. You can check it out here.

Student Spotlight: Samantha Taningco

Transportation is expansive, and there's a place for everyone. Though, Samantha Taningco didn't quite know her place when she came to the University of Florida in 2009. A Civil Engineering major, she was interested in structures but wasn't sure what path she wanted to take.
