UFTI Professors Receive FDOT Funding to Enhance Road Ranger Deployment and Safety

 
Have you ever seen an accident on the highway? Or maybe just someone with a flat tire? In many cases you will also see a service vehicle assisting motorists, known as Road Rangers here in Florida. They are a free service provided by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and can help drivers in ways such as: providing fuel, tire changes and other types of minor emergency repairs

associate professor in the UF Department of Materials Science and Engineering as well as a UFTI affiliate. Apply for the STRIDE Transportation Research Internship Program (TRIP) by March 14th!

Applications for the STRIDE Transportation Research Internship Program for summer 2016 are still being accepted. Juniors and seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a 3.0 GPA or above are eligible to apply. The internship program is designed for students to learn about transportation engineering and participate in cutting-edge research.
