Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----

Psalm 91:1-2

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

This weekend Ps Isaac in Uganda sure saw God's protection upon his life. Here follows his letter to us...

Dear friends ,

Greetings!

I would like to thank God for your prayers which made us survive after an accident yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

The brick wall fell on us yesterday, badly deforming the car and injuring me. It was indeed a narrow escape.

At the moment I have no transport because the car is in the repair shop in town. I was taking Esther, an orphan girl we support to sit for National Primary Living Examination due today and tomorrow. She had been studying in Wanyange Primary school, a government school.

However, when time came to sit for final exams, she was registered in another small private school deep in slums by the lake. This is because of policy; a requirement for a particular number of candidates per school. Esther fell outside the number allowed by government for that school. Excess children were distributed to other private schools.

Our Esther was among those registered in Lake View Primary school for her final primary examination due today and tomorrow.

Both of us did not know where the school was. I took Esther in the afternoon amidst a heavy down pour, to try and find the school. There is a lot of rain in Jinja currently.

We got lost in the middle of the slum area. There was also an abandoned wall at the end of a very narrow street. The car got stuck in the mud near the wall. In the process of trying to get out by force it skidded on to already fragile wall battered by rain. It fell on the car with us inside; a pile of bricks and dust covered us. I was helped out - but the body of the car was badly deformed. Esther escaped without a scratch whilst I was injured slightly in the right hand. I am getting some treatment now for it.

The mechanic came for the car and is being worked upon in town. The mechanic gave me a bill of ugx1,750,000 [$500] for complete panel beating and fresh spray. It is an expense I did not plan, but I need the car all the time for the work of ministry. Somehow this is an attack from the enemy to hinder the work: I have a series of ministry commitments coming up.

I have invitations to speak in Gulu University Christian Union, a local church in Gulu, In Mukono, in Bukedea and on my way from Gulu also visit Kitgum Restoration Center, an institution I helped to start many years ago.

So please pray with me to be able to find cash quickly to pay for the car repairs. Also for the car's protection in the repair shop. I do not wish to cancel any of the above appointments due to car issues. All appointments are scheduled to be after 22nd November, when my wife and I will have returned from Ethiopia.

Thank you

Pastor Isaac Peter Oyako

Jinja, Uganda.

Ps Isaac informed us today that Esther managed to write all her exams - and came home rejoicing today:

Esther is back home. She completed the national exams today at 5:00 pm. She is full of joy for what the Lord did. She experienced the hand of God during her papers

We give God all the Glory for protecting Ps Isaac, and for helping young Esther in her exams.

If you can assist Ps Isaac with any donation to fix his car, we will pass it on to him immediately,

Thanking you in advance for your assistance !!
