Look out belooow!!!
On February 1st, many brokers will be opening letters of termination from United Healthcare Securehorizons. Their contracts are connected to an FMO office that has gotten terminated for lack of production by the carrier.
To many brokers this will come as a big surprise and they will not understand what is going on. Simply put, they unknowingly hitched their contracting wagon to a dimming star. Now they will find themselves in a position to recontract within 30 days or lose the ability to sell the product and other issue of standing with the carrier.
The next FMO selection they make better be the right one or they may find themselves in the same situation next year. |

The protection we provide....
JSA ,inc. was the number one FMO in the country doubling the production of the next closest FMO competitor. Brokers inside of the JSA, inc and S.A. Nichols Brokerage hierarchy were the ones who help us achieve this great accomplishment. In us all working together to achieve such great production hieghts we do not have to suffer the unfortunate hassle that many other brokers will have to endure.
The picture above is the 2010 Quality Service Award given to JSA, inc in 2010 for broker service by United Healthcare Securehorizons.
The simple fact is that by you working inside the hierarchy of #1 your contract is protected from these unforseen contract terminations.

How to help your broker friends...
There is no doubt that you will hear of broker friends who will be losing their contracts and looking to recontract with the carrier. I really do not know of any broker who is seriously marketing senior health plans that does not want or need UHC / AARP plans. Please share with them how your contract was protected and how their can be to by joining our winning team. Share with them the service we provide with over 50+ employees that are knowledgeable and dedicated in senior health plans. Online and "live" training sessions with easy to use training schedules monthly. Free turning 65 mailing list and the ability to really explain to them the "autorized to offer" AARP program. Incentive trips and so much more.
We have tried to make the recontracting program easy for affected brokers to access via our website. Tell them to go to www.sanb.net and click on the "contacts" link next to the starburst. Print off the contracts and fax them to us at 888-508-2700 or scan and email to us at sanagency@cinci.rr.com.
We will make sure the contracts are sent in and processed without interuption to the brokers relationship with the carrier. It will be a great thing for you to do for a fellow broker affected by this event. |
