United Health Centers (UHC) broke ground on its new
53,000 square foot administrative building
located at
3875 W. Beechwood Avenue today
. The facility will accommodate about 150 employees when complete in late 2018.
Monty Torres, evening news anchor for KMPH FOX Channel 26 served as Master of Ceremonies. The program featured a Presentation of the Colors by the Fresno High School ROTC Color Guard Team, National Anthem by violinist Patrick Contreras with several VIP guests including District Director Matt Rogers, for U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, Eileen De Raadt, the Representative for U.S. Congressman David Valadao, Jenna Welch of State Senator Tom Berryhill, Chongtoua Mouavangsou the Representative from Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula, Nicholas Sinclair the Representative from Assemblymember Jim Patterson, Larry Westerlund, Director of Economic Development for the City of Fresno and Councilmember Steven Brandau of District 2.

The work of our administrative department is essential to our operation and this new facility will allow us to accommodate our growth. We are excited about making this investment into the economic growth in Fresno, bringing many new jobs through the construction, as well as, the new staff that will be here once it is complete" said Colleen Curtis, UHC President and CEO.
The administration building will house senior executives and administrative departments including finance, human resources, information technology, patient referral services as well as a call center with live telephone operators and several other departments. The Neenan Company, a fully integrated design-build firm based in Colorado, is serving as the design-build partner for the project.
