General

  • ANTI-CANCER CHALLENGE ROAD CLOSURES: The annual Anti-Cancer Challenge event will take place on Saturday, October 5th between 6am and 2pm. The race typically ends by 11am. As soon as it is safe and the last runner is off the major streets, they will open access back up to the campus and surrounding communities. To see a map of the road closures that may affect University Hills please click here. To learn more about the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge please visit https://www.anti-cancerchallenge.org/
  • NO WHEELS ON THE PRIDE STAIRS: In an effort to keep the newly painted Inclusive Pride Stairs in good condition, please refrain from using anything with wheels on the stairs. Stairs are designed for foot traffic only, and use of items with wheels on the stairs is already damaging the new art installation. Please help us keep and maintain this community art piece by using the ramps and sidewalks nearby when using bikes, scooters, wagons, or other wheeled items. The Inclusive Pride Stairs will be closed off starting on Wednesday, 10/9 for retouching, and will reopen on Sunday, 10/13 at 11:30am for the ribbon cutting before Fall Fiesta.
  • RSVP TO COMMUNITY EVENTS: We need your help! Please use the RSVP buttons posted with the flyers in this email so we can plan our events more efficiently.
  • LISTSERV TO MAILING LIST CHANGE: The University Hills listserv has moved to a new platform. You may register for access to the new list here. (Please note: ICHA does not manage or monitor the mailing list; the mailing list is separate and independent of the ICHA email messaging system).
  • INTEREST GROUP DATABASE: Check out what's going on here!
