Medically Complex Training Schedule

The Medically Complex Training Program has added two additional dates for Join Hands Together, the initial training required to become a Medically Complex Foster Parent.

Welcoming Karen Bowman to the TRC
|
Karen Bowman joined the TRC as Program Coordinator for Adoption Support for Kentucky (ASK) in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Evansville, and has done graduate study in Family Studies and Public Administration. She has a diverse professional background including nonprofit work, program development, research, information technology, and administration. With the ASK Program she develops training materials for ASK groups, supports Adoptive Parent Liaisons, and performs program administration and promotion. Outside of work, Karen and her husband are adoptive and foster parents and volunteer with their church and local nonprofits.

What Works in Child Welfare Conference
|
The Fifth Annual "What Works in Child Welfare" Conference presented by Kentucky's Statewide Citizen Review Panel will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Clarion Hotel in Lexington, KY from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year we are excited to present the following:

- Getting on Board to Prevent Child Abuse & Neglect in KY - Citizen Foster Care Review Boards
