About Mr Pandit:

Mr Pandit began his medical career at University of Wales, Cardiff where he obtained his primary medical qualification in 1988. He began his ophthalmology career in Colchester, Essex as a Senior House Officer, before entering specialist training in the South West region of England at Torbay Hospital, Devon. He passed the examination to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1993. He won a scholarship from the Wellcome Trust to study human tears at the Nuffield Laboratory of Ophthalmology and subsequently obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Oxford in 2003. He completed his specialist training at hospitals in Plymouth and Bristol and then undertook further surgical training in Corneal and External Eye Diseases under Mr Sheraz Daya at the Queen Victoria hospital in East Grinstead, a supra-regional and national referral centre for ocular surface diseases.
