SUN Day: A Multifaith Day of Climate Hope and Inspiration
As part of the national SUN Day climate initiative, local faith communities will gather to share inspiration and music that speaks to climate change. We will spotlight the wonderful environmental work being done by Washtenaw County faith communities.
Shoshannah Lenski, the new Executive Director of Ann Arbor's Sustainable Energy Utility (SEU), will share details regarding this first-of-its-kind initiative to create a resilient, renewable-powered local energy system.
By showing up for SUN Day, we will be joining with others across the country who are standing up for climate action and showing resistance to those who are creating roadblocks to a clean energy future. Dr. Diana Hernandez, sociologist by training, examines the social and environmental determinants of health.
